SVN can have some advantages. But the structure of my version is a bit
different than the version at [1]. Everything is build with Ant build
files. And has another top directory. See [2]. The shell compilation
does not work, can be fixed, but I see no reason for two build systems.

So a new branch for CVS or ... or how can the different directory
structure be solved? Is it possible to move files in CVS? I believe this
is a reason for SVN.

How the compilation will look like, depends on the system. Maybe a
configurator for cards like Tommaso proposed will execute the task and
create the actual build files for a card.
