The MPCOS range of cards uses a so-called secure messaging scheme. This
requires computation of a criptographic checksum. The documents do not
explain in clear what this is, and refer to the iso 7816-4 document.
I have got the document, but I do not really understand what is the
algorithm. Anyone knows something that can be of help?
Thanks in advance. This is a small company and the big guys at Gemplus do
not answer so fast.
