This usually (in my experience) isn't a browser-compatibility issue,
but some other problem with the module - like the runtime linker can't
find some of the other libraries that it links to (libmusclecard,
libpcsclite) or that the plugin that libmusclecard is using is trying
to use is failing (I remember having this problem when libmusclecard
was looking for Contents/SunOS/blah.so when the file was actually
in Contents/Solaris, or maybe it was the other way around).
Maybe you could strace the firefox-bin process when you're trying
to load the module, and look for clues there?
