Hi,

Hello,

When using SCM's SDI010 in winXP, although only one device is
connected; to the user, two devices are enumerated, one for contact
cards, and the other contactless. There, the first driver loads, then
it pops-up the second instance. Is it possible in Linux to intimate to
the kernel that our usb kernel module has a child device so that the
daemon can recognize a second device? Any lead would be of great help
to me.

This reader is already supported as a two slots reader by my CCID
driver [1]. I guess the behavior you see under Windows is a hack since
the USB device only declare _one_ CCID device, but with two slots.

Have you tried to use it under GNU/Linux? Does it work for you?
