for another reason, I've been tested  the some  generic ccid readers by
using the Apple'driver, it can not connect to the reader properly. pls see
below message.  I dont know the problem is come from reader or drivers.  but
I sure these readers work and test fine wirth your ccid driver on Linux and
Microsoft CCID driver.

I don't know what the problem is either. You should file a bug report
on Apple bug report system [1].

The problem with Mac OS X is that Apple ships a (very) old pcsc-lite
so my CCID driver will not work correctly with it.

You can try to use the Mac OS X driver provided by Gemplus [2]. It is
a patched version of my driver to work with Apple' pcsc-lite. You can
also file a bug report on [2] asking Apple to upgrade their pcsc-lite.
