Sounds like a bug in the driver (IFD Handler). Assuming they layered the IFD Handler on top of the CT API, it may
be a simple fix - assuming it is open source shim or driver ....

Yes it an microprocessor card. The reader is an cyberjack e-com from
Reiner SCT.

It either sounds like an issue with your reader driver or with the card / reader combination. Is this a microprocessor card or a memory card ?
Is your IFD Handler driver properly being called IFDHPowerICC and
attempting to power the card when inserted ?
