Sure!
But I thought this is unrelated to pcscd... right?
It IS related to pcscd. The polling is done by pcscd itself. The
driver configuration file is just telling pcscd it can avoids polling
since something (udev) will call pcscd --hotplug when a reader is
connected.
So what you want is make pcscd ignore this driver feature.
I propose the command line opotion "--ignore-ifd-hotplug". But maybe
someone has a better proposal?
