Hi Ludovic, hi list,

Hello,

I am trying to upgrade the FreeBSD port of pcsc-lite to 1.3.3.

Compared to version 1.3.2 i have noticed the following regressions.

* I can't terminate the daemon with ctrl+c or SIGTERM

I guess it is related to the change revision 2148 [1].
Try to revert the change and tell me if that corrects the bug. You may
also reapply the change in revision 2149 [2].

* There is confusion on the USB Bus, e.g. my optical USB mouse is
powered down after a few seconds, if pcscd is running. (But the
cardreader happily reads
ATRs).

It looks like this issue can be fixed by starting with --force-reader-
polling.

Both problems disappear if i downgrade pcscd to 1.3.2

Have you configured and installed the ccid driver version 1.2.0 using
--enable-udev?

Your mouse problem is strange.

Bye,
