Hi everyone,
We are going to reimplement our IFD handler. We have USB token (with internal
smartcard). In the past we taken approach of ‘virtual’ reader. In other words,
we registered it as a serial reader in the readers.conf.
We consider an option to register it now as USB reader (with proper bundle
description).
However there is a problem: how application will know about token insertion. As
long as we had virtual readers, SCardGetStatusChange was just good enough. But
how to get report about added/removed readers. The documentation says that
empty list may be passed to get information about reader availability. But I
may have 1 token inserted and want to listen for other insertions as well.
The second question is: how can I know the PC/SCLite version distributed with
different Linux flavors?
In particular, I’m interested in:
RedHat 3 and 4
Suse 9.3 and 10
Fedora 5 and 6
I want to be sure that in my IFD Handler I go for the common denominator
