I know perfectly this is far from being a PC/SC topic, nevertheless:

Anybody has managed developing smart card services using Bluetoot SIM
Access Profile?

Here we're trying to develop a demo where a user logs into a computer
with his Bluetooth SAP enabled Nokia phone in his pocket, and the
computer reads a certificate from the SIM card inside and uses it to
log into a VPN. Right now the demo is a Java application which uses
Microsoft Bluetooth services via JNI and a proprietary DLL, but this
is a too closed solution for me to like it. I wonder if somebody has
managed sending APDU's to a SIM card using BlueZ or a similar open
source solution and, if this is the case, what are the developing
steps to be taken. I simply would find lovely being able to hack a
*swan client so it uses a certificate inside a smart card.

Any ideas welcome.

Cordially, Ismael
