Hi,
I was using SCR3310 smart card reader. The display name was "SCR3310 USB
Smart Card Reader". Added with the serial number , the channel and slot
numbers, the length of the name came to 53. The utility I was using failed
specifying "reader not found". I found that the pcsclite has a max
ReaderName length set to 52. Is there any specific reason why the Max
Reader Name is set to 52 and not more. Cos, there are some readers which
have a longer display names than this. The long display names were for
specific customer requirements, hence the issue. Could you consider
increasing the length to say 75 or 100 (just a thought).
