The protocols SCP01/02 do not define to fall back on card recognition data.
The off-card side shall evaluate the information of INIT-UPDATE and switch
to the specified protocol. But you're right, this is incosistent behavior.
The protocol and option displayed in the CRD is not synchronised with the
actual SCP settings. I will file a change request. Thank you for pointing
