Should be the same in Iceweasel, as it's just Debian's version of Firefox.

Firefox does this as well.  I don't know how iceweasel works - butyou can 
disable this in Firefox by going into the options and deleting(unconfiguring) 
the PKCS11 module that talks to musclecards.

Another application is already using this card in exclusivemode.

Or it is a bug in pcsc-lite :-)
