Is the RDP client on Linux supposed to send the information that the eTokend has been inserted again? I don't know if RDP Linux client can manage reader insertion during execution. You should ask on the Linux RDP Client list. Also you can try version 1.5.0 of pcsc-lite. I added support of "\\?PnP?\Notification" to detect reader insertion/removal. But I don't know if Linux RDP will use this feature since it is quiet new. Again ask on a Linux RDP list.
