Hello ! I received an older SmartCard reader, that is still RS-232 based, and was supposed to work on Windows (95/98) platform. However the original software (ChipMaster for Windows) is lost, the device was bought in Conrad shop, years ago. I am trying to use this on Linux Debian. To be frank, I don't know exactly where I should start, the manuals which I have found date really back, so I think those aren't very helpfull for me. I am trying to use a SmartCard (chipcard) supplied by my banking institution to access the online-banking system.
