Hi Glen,

The SLE4442 it's a memory card, not and asyncronous card and will not work with ISO 7816 commands. There are some readers as LTC31[1] that emulates an ISO7816 card when a memory card as SLE4442 is inserted. You can purchase these reader in our web.

Hey Marc,

Unfortunately I don't have a choice on the card reader as it's provided as part of a complete device from Advantech.

We currently use Castles readers in our other hardware devices with their ezusb driver. They provided us with a libcasmcard library that I'm assuming is where the SLE4442 command codes are coming from.

So, for the Alcor Micro AU9250 to be able to read an SLE4442 memory card (which the hardware is capable) I'd somehow have to get pcsc-lite/ ccid to hook into the command set from that libcasmcard library rather than use the standard command set.

Is that about right ?

Kind Regards,
