Hello, xcardii is a "graphical program to manage a MuscleCard smartcard"
The application uses Qt version 3 and this version of Qt will be removed from Debian after Debian squeeze is released (soon). See Debian bug #604570 [1] "Preparations for the removal of the KDE3 and Qt3 libraries" XCard II source code has not been updated/modified since 9 years [2]. I guess nobody is using the program anymore. According to popcon (popularity contest) [3] the package is not used much. If nobody volunteer to port the program to Qt4 I will ask for the removal of the package from Debian.
