I'd be very interested in feedback on using contactless cards on android too!
So far I saw some documents or blog postings etc. telling me: * google has only published an API for accessing nfc tags :( * the nfc capable phones are supposed to be used with special usim cards. but I haven't found any details on access the nfc chip and what kind of smart card / secure element is required to work with it. It would be great to upload javacards applet into a secure element (e.g. usim card) and thus enable applications like mastercard paypass, visa paywafe, public transport cards and so on - but there seems to be no public info about such things (except everyone telling us, they will do that without giving out any technical details on the implementation). guess currently you need an nda with google or samsung or the open handset alliance to get details? or they are planing some closed club where small players can't join the game? too bad :( Regards, Andreas _______________________________________________ Muscle mailing list [email protected] http://lists.drizzle.com/mailman/listinfo/muscle
