Just search for 3.99.x on the Reiner SCT download pages. That works with latest Ubuntu versions, so I'm confident that they will also work with latest SuSE versions. However, changing the hotplug-mechanism every once in a while doesn't help with keeping drivers working... Depending on the distribution there are now at least two types of systems: One type requires using libHAL (and doesn't work without it, like Ubuntun 9.04) and the other doesn't work at all with libHAL (unless the HAL daemon is installed as well, which it isn't anymore on modern systems)... So this stuff is always a moving target on Linux which makes it sometimes hard too keep up with. That's why old versions of software sometimes don't work with newer distributions without changes. Especially software which is quite near to the lowlevel part of a system (like drivers). If you can't locate the latest driver on the Reiner SCT download pages please send them an email about that. I know for sure that they have the latest version of the source code... You should use at least 3.99.5.
