Okay, thanks.

I had a look at the online database of readers and had the impression
that a lot of readers in the "Should be supported" list were affected:

http://pcsclite.alioth.debian.org/ccid/readers/ACS_ACR100.txt
http://pcsclite.alioth.debian.org/ccid/readers/ACS_ACR38_plugin.txt
http://pcsclite.alioth.debian.org/ccid/readers/ACS_AET65.txt
http://pcsclite.alioth.debian.org/ccid/readers/ATMEL_AT90SCR050.txt
http://pcsclite.alioth.debian.org/ccid/readers/AxaltoV3.txt
And a bunch more ...

About the speed patch, what would you accept?

Should we display
ISO_DATA_RATES 10753, 14337, 15625, 17204, \
                20833, 21505, 23438, 25806, 28674, \
                31250, 32258, 34409, 39063, 41667, \
                43011, 46875, 52083, 53763, 57348, \
                62500, 64516, 68817, 71685, 78125, \
                83333, 86022, 93750, 104167, 107527, \
                114695, 125000, 129032, 143369, 156250, \
                166667, 172043, 215054, 229391, 250000, \
                344086

inferior to max speed?

with a message indicating that the reader does not display data rates.

Really, I don't feel comfortable to propose a patch, as this is a simple
issue and I wonder why it did not get fixed before.

Were there technical reasons why you did not propose a patch before?
Maybe you should explain so that we discuss about the reasons?

Kind regards,
