Without minimal information, we cannot help.
I read libccid code again and you seem to assume that if the reader
rates are not announced and maximum rate is superior to card rate, we
may use card rate. libccid current code is trivial.
So why not use using ccid_desc->dwFeatures & CCID_CLASS_AUTO_BAUD
and assume that reader is able to connect at card speed?
So what would be a less trivial fix?
Can you explain so that we try to provide a fix.
