Hi Dr. Rousseau,

Thank you for looking onto this issue. Seems its working now.  I removed the
pcsclite version that I installed (leaving the forked version of MAC) and
the pcscd_autostart that was bundled on the card reader driver. Then, I
linked my program to MAC PCSC framework as instructed on your blog

for the useful references that you posted! :)
