Hello,

I am trying to verify ADM key for a SIM Card but I am always getting 6B00 as
the return value.

I need to change an EF that requires ADM key authentication.

I know that ADM is 98765432. However, when I send the command:

A0 20 00 00 08 39 38 37 36 35 34 33 32

the return is always 6B00

According to GSM11.11, this means that P1 or P2 are incorrect. So, if I am not
mistaken, my conclusion is that  P2=00 is wrong.

I could verify PIN1 = 0000 and PIN2=1234 successfully using these commands:

PIN1(0000): A0 20 00 01 08 30 30 30 30 FF FF FF FF
PIN2(1234): A0 20 00 02 08 31 32 33 34 FF FF FF FF

First of all, I would like to know if my conclusion is correct indeed. If so,
is there a way to discover the correct P2?

The card ATR is: 3B 98 96 00 93 94 03 02 03 01 01 01

I'd appreciate some help.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Marcelo
