Hello Dr. Ludovic,

Thank you for your answer, but i am using the latest kernel and libusb
for Centos 6.4:

kernel-2.6.32-358.el6.x86_64
libusb-0.1.12-23.el6.x86_64
libusb1-1.0.9-0.6.rc1.el6.x86_64

And from libusb http://www.libusb.org/ the latest version is 1.0.9

As i told before, i am using virtualization with KVM and running virtual
machine Centos 6.4 with USB pass-through of smart card. I also test with
XEN hypervisor and i can read USB smart card without problems. Do you
know if have any issue with KVM hypervisor and USB pass-throught that
causes reading timout?

Best Regards,
