James,

We modified things to make it easier in the 1.0 release...You may want to move
up to that, at least do a test install to ensure it suits your needs...I know
you guys have been working with the stuff for sometime, but eventually you will
need to upgrade to the official 1.0...The changes in the home that were made
were done to address this sort of scenario.....

If you do, make sure to read the release notes as some fundamental things have
changed...You probably need to read that, regenerate to a new directory and
copy some of your own code to the newly generated stuff...That is probably the
easiest way to move it over....

As usual if you guys have questions just send them to the list...

We haven't converted over to the new 1.0 release; so no we aren't using the new
1.0 release.

We aren't creating resources at all. We had figured that we could call
Home.getInstance, but figured it too much to try and create a ResourceContext
to pass it.

James,

Are you using the 1.0 release?

Are you creating your resources in the ...Home.init() method?

Is there a way for a Resource to be created when starting the
application server, like weblogic?
Right now, instances are created when muse receives a SOAP Request. This
first request is a little slow in responding.

Creating a Servlet that loads on startup doesn't work either because the
application server is not completly up yet, and sending a SOAP request
to its port obviously doesn't work.

Thanks, James Lorenzen.
