Because of legal obstacles, the Muse team had to delay its 2.1 release. The good news is that we should not encounter these problems again, as IBM will be allowing its committers to perform all of their IP contributions in real-time after a confirmation meeting next week; the bad news is that it will not happen soon enough to save our 2.1 date.
We are planning on making all of our commits for 2.1 (for all 34 open & scheduled items in JIRA) on next Tuesday, December 5th. Andrew and I will spend the rest of the week(end) making sure that the public build performs the same way our internal one does and cleaning up any loose ends with the build process. For those that have helped with 2.1 content, rest assured that all of your patches and fixes have been applied and tested, and we will confirm each individually the 5th-7th. We hope to have our first 2.1 release candidate on Thursday, December 7th. We would appreciate any help from the members of the community who have submitted bug reports and fixes in making sure that this release candidate solves the problems they were having. We are very grateful for all of your input, testing, patience, and help in making 2.1 an improvement over 2.0, now we will just need a little more help! Once we have consensus on the quality of the build, we can vote for a release for December 14th-15th.
