Hi Ami,

This sounds like a proxy problem (or a DNS problem). You may need to add
ws.apache.org to your host file. Their IP address is 140.211.11.130.

Of course, (if I recall correctly) you only need to run the
update_install script if you intend to use the osgi support, and if you
move to muse 2.2, all of the osgi libraries are already included.

Cheers,
Joel

Subject: Query Regarding installation

Respected Sir,

I try to install Apache Muse run time. I get following error
  "C:\muse\muse-2.1.0-bin\bin>update_install.bat
Checking for updates on platform libraries...
  Creating temporary directory...
  Downloading the latest update script...

  BUILD FAILED
  C:\muse\muse-2.1.0-bin\bin\update_install.xml:10:
java.net.UnknownHostException:
   ws.apache.org

  Total time: 4 seconds
  Failed executing ant"

What I have to do for resolving this error?

Can you please give me Apache Muse installation steps?

  Thanking you very much.

  With Regards,
  Amee Desai
