Hi all,

I was thinking about the <math> tag when publishing with eg context and
html styles. The math content is dealt with using context for the context
output, and using latex for html/xhtml dvi images. This is all right for
simple math objects, where context and latex codes are identical; but for
more sophisticated cases problems arise and your life becomes complicated.

So I tried to modify muse-latex2png.el in a way that (the so many) context
users (amongst us) can decide to use context math for dvi images and then
have consistent math code in their muse files.

The result is the appended file muse-tex2png.el. I've run some simple tests
on it without problems. I would be happy if it is of use to anybody - and
even more happy if it were to replace muse-latex2png.el in the muse
distribution :)

LaTeX users won't have anything to change as the defaults are what
muse-latex2png.el already does.

All the best,

Attachment: muse-tex2png.el
