I found the problem why our efforts did not resolve the issue with exclusive access to the producer EPR. In NotificationConsumerClient.notify(), there is code to set the NotificationMessage's producer EPR using the single instance of producer EPR. This was already being done in SimpleNotificationProducer, which lead us to believe that this was not being done afterwards.
Should NotificationConsumerClient be setting the NotificationMessage's producer EPR or should SimpleSubscriptionManager?
