As music is increasingly generated through prompts, datasets, and platform infrastructures, the conference examines new forms of musicianship, distributed creative agency, and emerging aesthetic signatures alongside critical questions of authorship, labour, ethics, pedagogy, and power. AIMC 2026 invites technical, cultural, and artistic contributions that interrogate how AI mediates musical practice and transforms the conditions, possibilities, and politics of music-making today.
