two notes:

1. "linear interpolation" while not sounding as sophisticated as "first-order Lagrange interpolation", would communicate the concept more readily (albeit humbly).

2. i am not sure what would be needed for digital waveguides, but in general, as long as you're willing to pay a little more for it, there is better interpolation than that for audio signals. maybe it ain't necessary for waveguide synthesis, or whatever else you're doing with waveguides.

no big wop.  just thought i would identify the term.
