listen, i am an old fart.� a decade ago i discovered that i lost about 30 dB 
around 4 kHz.� but i have tried to adapt and for the most part enjoy full 
bandwidth music.
in **none** of the 4 snippets could i hear any real difference between the 5 
files presented in the
snippet.
sorry, dunno what to say.� i don't have golden ears, but i couldn't hear any 
difference.� i used Audacity and some pretty good Audio Technica headphones.


BTW, i liked the music in snippet 3.
