Currently, the vocal tree only offers countertenor. Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haute-contre considers countertenor as
different from haute-contre. I have a release which credits 2 performers as
haute-contre
http://musicbrainz.org/release/536d22e7-4a2f-4071-b43c-14cd0c1bfc7f?tport=8000.
This is the only release I own which uses "haute-contre", but there
must
be others. Some web sites (
http://operacritiques.free.fr/css/index.php?2006/06/20/283-le-contre-tenor-et-la-haute-contre-tessitures-classification-voix-taille-epoque-baroque-tessiture)
consider that haute-contre can be translated as countertenor, but that
countertenor actually contains haute-contre as well as other voices.
