A few questions about replay gain support. I apologize if these are repeat
questions - the mailing list archive is not searchable.
1. Is this wiki page still accurate? http://mpd.wikia.com/wiki/Replay_gain
2. Is there a good reason for not supporting *both* APEv2 and ID3v2
replaygain tags? Especially if most analyzers write to IDE3v2, it seems
wrong to not support the way that most analysers do it.
3. As Josh pointed out in a conversation earlier, it's silly for a media
player to support playback for more audio formats than it supports replay
gain scanning for. This suggests that perhaps the correct place to do
replay gain scanning is not with external programs, but within mpd itself,
using the decoded audio data. Thoughts?
