1850 dead in Baghdad last month   11:49:18 Þ.Ù Baghdad's main morgue last month handled the corpses of 1,850 people from its immediate region alone, most of them gunshot victims, Iraqi Health Ministry Spokesman Qasim Yahia said Thursday. "The figure for June was 1,350 and this increased to 1,850 last month," he said. The death toll rose amid ongoing violence around the city due to the presence of alien forces in the country. FK
