Assalam u alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuhu, I am forwarding 2 interesting emails. Download the attached slide show and relate it to the information and picture shown below. The email recommends walking but personally, I agree with the slide show that body movements in our PRAYER (salah- sujod -prostrations) are not designed for nothing. Everytime we finish praying, we feel like our feet have just undergone a through massage or walked miles specially if we do more sunnah prayers before and/or after each obligatory prayers as the case maybe. Both our feet were stretched to the limits when we prostrate, and sit on left foot where it holds our whole body weight while stretching the right foot on upward position.
Well, we know and trust whatever Allah asked us to do is for our own benefits. But these health benefits should be secondary in our intention/niyah in praying - just a bonus. The primary benefit is the GREAT FEELING...INNER PEACE....of having perfomed something for Allah. Subhan Allah....its infinitely more than that kind of happiness we feel when we look at the smile and glow in the eyes of our love ones when we bring them breakfast in bed. Iblis BTW also believed in Allah but he was doomed for not prostrating to Adam when asked. Allah ho Akbar, Allah did not ask us to prostrate to any created being. If iblis was doomed for refusing to prostrate to a created one, what do you think we deserve in ignoring or refusing to prostrate to our Creator in the way and manner taught by HIS messenger?. Mere believing is not enough as Iblis do, we need to follow what Allah commanded us to do. May we feel that kind of SAKINA....INNER PEACE...CALMNESS of soul....great joy in performing an act that Allah asked us to do, ameen. Maassalama, Maryam ----- Original Message ----- From: Shuhaidar Annuar Subject: So, keep walking..... . Just check this out...... The Organs of your body have their sensory touches at the bottom of your foot, if you massage these points you will find relief from aches and pains as you can see the organs are on right and left foot, the heart is on the left foot. [IMAGE] This time, it put organs on the feet as they are. Typically they are shown as points and arrows to show which organ it connects to. It is indeed correct since the nerves connected to these organs terminate here. This is covered in great details in Acupressure studies or textbooks. God created our body so well that he thought of even this. He made us walk so that we will always be pressing these pressure points and thus keeping these organs activated at all times. So, keep walking... .
