[1:1] In the name of GOD, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
[9:31] They have set up their religious leaders and scholars as lords,
instead of GOD. Others deified the Messiah, son of Mary. They were all
commanded to worship only one god. There is no god except He. Be He glorified,
high above having any partners.
Peace be upon you Abdullah,
God Almighty gives the details of Ramadan with knowledge, guidance and
mercy for us in the following verses of the Quran :
[7:52] We have given them a scripture that is fully detailed, with (1)
knowledge, (2) guidance, and (3) mercy for the people who believe
[2:183] O you believe, fasting is decreed for you, as it was decreed for
those before you, that you may attain salvation.
[2:184] Specific days (are designated for fasting); if one is ill or
traveling, an equal number of other days may be substituted. Those who can
fast, but with great difficulty, may substitute feeding one poor person for
each day of breaking the fast. If one volunteers (more righteous works), it is
better. But fasting is the best for you, if you only knew.
[2:185] Ramadan is the month during which the Quran was revealed, providing
guidance for the people, clear teachings, and the statute book. Those of you
who witness this month shall fast therein. Those who are ill or traveling may
substitute the same number of the other days. God wishes for you convenience,
not hardship, that you may fulfill your obligations, and to glorify God for
guiding you, and to express your appreciation.
[2:186] When My servants ask you about Me, I am always near. I answer their
prayers when they pray to Me. The people shall respond to Me and believe in
Me, in order to be guided.
[2:187] Permitted for you is sexual intercourse with your wives during the
nights of fasting. They are the keepers of your secrets, and you are the
keepers of their secrets. God knew that you used to betray your souls, and He
has redeemed you, and has pardoned you. Henceforth, you may have intercourse
with them, seeking what God has permitted for you. You may eat and drink until
the white thread of light becomes distinguishable from the dark thread of night
at dawn. Then, you shall fast until sunset. Sexual intercourse is prohibited
if you decide to retreat to the masjid (during the last ten days of Ramadan).
These are God's laws; you shall not transgress them. God thus clarifies His
revelations for the people, that they may attain salvation.
[97:1] We revealed it in the Night of Destiny. [97:2] How awesome is the
Night of Destiny!
[97:3] The Night of Destiny is better than a thousand months. [97:4] The
angels and the Spirit descend therein, by their Lord's leave, to carry out
every command.
[97:5] Peaceful it is until the advent of the dawn.
Is the Quran not sufficient for our salvation!? Please know that following
words other than God is defined in the Quran as idolatry. Idolatry is the only
unforgivable offense if maintained until death.
[6:19] Say, "Whose testimony is the greatest?" Say, "GOD's. He is the witness
between me and you that this Quran has been inspired to me, to preach it to you
and whomever it reaches. Indeed, you bear witness that there are other gods
beside GOD." Say, "I do not testify as you do; there is only one god, and I
disown your idolatry."
[4:48] GOD does not forgive idolatry, but He forgives lesser offenses for
whomever He wills. Anyone who sets up idols beside GOD, has forged a horrendous
offense.
According to the Quran, even the messengers do not have authority issuing
any religious edict. The sole mission of a messenger is to deliver the message
of God.
[10:15] When our revelations are recited to them, those who do not expect to
meet us say, "Bring a Quran other than this, or change it!" Say, "I cannot
possibly change it on my own. I simply follow what is revealed to me. I fear,
if I disobey my Lord, the retribution of an awesome day."
[3:20] If they argue with you, then say, "I have simply submitted myself to
GOD; I and those who follow me." You shall proclaim to those who received the
scripture, as well as those who did not, "Would you submit?" If they submit,
then they have been guided, but if they turn away, your sole mission is to
deliver this message. GOD is Seer of all people.
[17:46] We place shields around their minds, to prevent them from understanding
it, and deafness in their ears. And when you preach your Lord, using the Quran
alone, they run away in aversion.
[5:101] O you who believe, do not ask about matters which, if revealed to
you prematurely, would hurt you. If you ask about them in light of the Quran,
they will become obvious to you. GOD has deliberately overlooked them. GOD is
Forgiver, Clement.
The Quran contains all information related to our eternal life of the
Hereafter. The Quran is complete, perfect and fully detailed scripture of God
Almighty.
[6:115] The word of your Lord is complete, in truth and justice. Nothing
shall abrogate His words. He is the Hearer, the Omniscient.
[6:38] All the creatures on earth, and all the birds that fly with wings, are
communities like you. We did not leave anything out of this book. To their
Lord, all these creatures will be summoned.
[6:114] Shall I seek other than GOD as a source of law, when He has revealed
to you this book fully detailed? Those who received the scripture recognize
that it has been revealed from your Lord, truthfully. You shall not harbor any
doubt.
People who do not seek guidance from the Quran and follow scholar's opinion
are addressed by the following verses.

[42:21] They follow idols who decree for them religious laws never authorized
by GOD. If it were not for the predetermined decision, they would have been
judged immediately. Indeed, the transgressors have incurred a painful
retribution.
[2:170] When they are told, "Follow what GOD has revealed herein," they say,
"We follow only what we found our parents doing." What if their parents did not
understand, and were not guided?
[9:34] O you who believe, many religious leaders and preachers take the
people's money illicitly, and repel from the path of GOD. Those who hoard the
gold and silver, and do not spend them in the cause of GOD, promise them a
painful retribution.
[63:4] When you see them, you may be impressed by their looks. And when they
speak, you may listen to their eloquence. They are like standing logs. They
think that every call is intended against them. These are the real enemies;
beware of them. GOD condemns them; they have deviated.
[14:21] When they all stand before GOD, the followers will say to the
leaders, "We used to follow you. Can you spare us even a little bit of GOD's
retribution?" They will say, "Had GOD guided us, we would have guided you. Now
it is too late, whether we grieve or resort to patience, there is no exit for
us."
