We are doing research on the geography of southern Lebanon. Specifically, we
want to know the land area of southern Lebanon, as we are trying to calculate
and define the area of land that received 440,000 plus pounds of uranium during
the purposeful uranium contamination of Lebanon by the US/IDF forces last
summer.
We figure that it was about 1000 square kilometers, but we have not been able
to come up with any more information, even though we have discovered several
somewhat useful documents from the Lebanese demining office in our search of
the Internet.
Any information or help that you may be able to give us will be greatly
