The Merits of Ablutions (Wudu) Uthman bin Affan (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "He who performs the Wudu perfectly (i.e., according to Sunnah), his sins will depart from his body, even from under his nails."[Muslim]. 185/1026 - Riyad Us-Saliheen (Gardens of the Righteous)
Commentary: To perform Wudu in a proper manner means to perform it according to Sunnah.
