Mus'ab ibn Sa'd said: My father told me that he ( Sa'd Radiyallahu anhu ) was with Allah's Messenger (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) when he (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam ) asked, "Does any one of you not have the ability to earn a thousand virtues (hasanaat) every day?" One of those sitting with him asked: How can one earn a 1000 good deeds in a day? He (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam ) replied: "If one glorifies Allah ( Says Subhan Allah ) one hundred times, a thousand virtues are recorded for him and a thousand sins are removed from him."
