As Salaam o Alaykum Wa Rahmatullaahi Wa Barkaatuh

Al Qur'an
(Namely), those who say:
"Our Lord! we
have indeed believed:
forgive us, then, our sins,
and save us from the
agony of the Fire;"-
Those
who show patience, Firmness
and self-control;
who are true (in word and deed);
who worship
devoutly;
who spend (in the way of Allah.;
and who pray for forgiveness
in the early hours of the morning.
There is no god but He: That is
the witness of Allah, His angels,
and those endued with knowledge,
standing firm on justice. There is no god but He,
the Exalted in Power,
the Wise.
{Surah Aal Imran ~ Ayah 16-18}

Hadith
Sulaiman b. Buraida® narrated on the authority of his father
that the
Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him)
used to teach them when they
went out to the graveyard.
One of
the narrators used to say this in the narration transmitted
on the
authority of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him):
"Peace be upon the inhabitants of the city
(i.
e. graveyard)."
In the hadith
transmitted by Zuhair (the words are):

"Peace be upon you all,
O inhabitants of the graves,
amongst the
believers and the Muslims.
Verily we will, Allah willing, be united
with you,
we ask Allah for well-being for us and you."
(Sahih Muslim: Book #004, Hadith #2128)
