In the name of Allah, the Most-Merciful, the All-Compassionate

"May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon You"
Praise be to Allaah, we seek His help and His forgiveness. We seek refuge with
Allaah from the evil of our own souls and from our bad deeds. Whomsoever Allaah
guides will never be led astray, and whomsoever Allaah leaves astray, no one
can guide. I bear witness that there is no god but Allaah, and I bear witness
that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

Female Doctors and Nurses Wearing a
White Coat over their Clothes

There is nothing wrong with what you mentioned of wearing a long, loose white
coat over your own clothes.

Shaykh Ibn Baaz (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: What is required of female
doctors and others such as nurses and workers is to fear Allaah and wear modest
clothing which will not show the shape of their limbs or awrahs, rather it
should be moderate clothing that is neither too loose nor too tight, and that
will cover them properly in the manner required by shareeah and will prevent
the causes of fitnah. End quote from Fataawa al-Shaykh Ibn Baaz (9/427).

He used to take small things like Stapler and Pens from work , Now he wants to
repent

Allaah has commanded us to keep our trusts, and He has forbidden us to take
peoples wealth or property in unlawful ways.

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Verily, Allaah commands that you should render back the trusts to those, to
whom they are due”
[al-Nisa 4:58]

It was narrated that Abu Humayd al Saaidi said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace
and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “By Allaah, no one of you takes
anything unlawfully but he will meet Allaah carrying it on the Day of
Resurrection. I will certainly recognize some of you who meet Allaah carrying a
camel that is groaning or a cow that is lowing or a sheep that is bleating.”
Then he raised his hand until the whiteness of his armpit could be seen and
said: “O Allaah, have I conveyed (the message)?”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 6578; Muslim, 1832.

Praise be to Allaah Who has enabled you to repent. This is a blessing from
Allaah to you, for which He deserves to be thanked. So praise Allaah and ask
Him for more of His bounty and help.

You do not have to disclose to the department what you have done, rather it is
sufficient for you to return the things themselves or the equivalent in
whatever way you can. If you cannot return them then you can give an equivalent
amount in charity.

You should try to find the office from which you took them; if you cannot do
that, then it is sufficient – inshaAllaah – for you to return them to the
department itself.

The Standing Committee was asked about a man who used to work in the armed
forces and took a coat without permission. They replied:
You have to return something equivalent to the coat that you took or its value
to the section from which you took it. If you cannot then give the equivalent
amount in charity to a poor person.
Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daaimah, 23/430.

Wearing Coat and Neckties

The Muslim is supposed to be distinct from non-Muslims in his appearance and
clothing, because this is what Islam says. Also, the Muslim should not wear
anything that is the distinctive clothing of the kuffaar.

With regard to coat and neckties, if a person can do without them, this is
better, but if he has to wear them there is nothing wrong with that,
inshaAllaah – but he should make sure that they are not made of natural silk
and that they do not have crosses or pictures of animate creatures on them.
