Narrated Ali ibn AbuTalib: Hanash (radi'Allahu anhu) said:
I saw Ali (Radi'Allahu anhu) sacrificing two rams;
so I asked him: What is this?
He (radi'Allahu anhu) replied.
The Apostle of Allah (Sall'Allahu alaihi wa sallam)
enjoined upon me to sacrifice on his behalf,
so that is what I am doing.
