Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
Assalamu Alaikum waRahmatullahi waBarkatuh!
Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him):
The Prophet (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said,
"Faith (Belief) consists of
more than sixty branches.
And Haya is a part of faith ."
(This term "Haya"
covers a large number of concepts
which are to be taken together; amongst them are
self respect, modesty, bashfulness, and scruple, etc.)
(Sahih Bukhari ~ Book #2, Hadith #8)
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira
(may Allah be pleased with him)
that the Messenger of
Allah
(may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)
said:
Faith has over seventy
branches
or over sixty branches.
The most excellent of which is
the
declaration that there is no god but Allah,
and
the humblest of which
is
the removal of what is injurious from the path:
and
modesty is the
branch of faith.
