Hi all,
I'm interested in contributing to Mutopia. I would like to take a symphony,
such as Beethoven 1 from IMSLP, and contribute a Mutopia version complete
with full score and individual parts. I realise there will be a lot of work
typing this in.
I have a background in computing by trade and music by hobby. My computing
philosophy is to record each piece of information once. So in tackling a
mutopia project, I would like to have one file for each part, defining the
part's name and the notes & dynamics that part plays, possibly one file
giving the overall rhythmic structure (time signatures, rehearsal marks,
other global directions, etc) and other files that pull these together to
create either a full score or individual parts.
Can anyone suggest (or forward) a set of template files I could start with?
