imap_delim_chars should be purely cosmetic at this point. Does the message
count work if you change imap_delim_chars to '.' (or './')?
In the diff hunk you posted, ImapDelimChars corresponds to the
imap_delim_chars setting in your .muttrc. It defaults to '/.', but I
personally use './' precisely so that the path separators are displayed as
'.'.
