#3175: mutt should display keyid for which it wants the password -------------------------------+-------------------------------------------- Reporter: [email protected] | Owner: mutt-dev Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: trivial | Milestone: Component: crypto | Version: Resolution: | Keywords: -------------------------------+--------------------------------------------
Comment(by pdmef): A message can be encrypted to several keys at once, so how should mutt know which you have the passphrase for (if you don't set pgp_sign_as)? Second, I think there's a gpg command line option to prevent the key id from being embedded to enable bcc in encrypted mail (so you don't know who got the mail). -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.mutt.org/trac/ticket/3175#comment:1> Mutt <http://www.mutt.org/> The Mutt mail user agent
