#3323: Sending postponed messages doesn't save a copy in $record -------------------------------+-------------------------------------------- Reporter: [email protected] | Owner: mutt-dev Type: defect | Status: closed Priority: minor | Milestone: Component: mutt | Version: 1.5.20 Resolution: invalid | Keywords: -------------------------------+-------------------------------------------- Changes (by josh):
* cc: [email protected] (added) Comment: I understand the reasoning here, but the result ends up with me losing outgoing mails. I expect that *everything* mutt sends should end up in the $record folder, and this seems like the natural assumption for a mail client's configured "Sent" folder. If this does not hold true, then the mutt documentation for $record (and $postponed) should explain this, and should explain what to set instead to obtain the desired behavior and avoid losing outgoing mail. -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.mutt.org/trac/ticket/3323#comment:2> Mutt <http://www.mutt.org/> The Mutt mail user agent
