It's very unlikely the message corruption is due to mutt. .muttdebug with
mutt -d5 will show you exactly what's uploaded, and I strongly suspect
it's the fault of your IMAP server.
As for the original bug, it probably depends on your settings for
$spoolfile, $folder and $imap_user. Probably, setting
spoolfile=imap://mail.163.com and [email protected] will let mutt
reuse your connection instead of logging in again.
