Comment:

 As olof hinted, setting imap_delim_chars='/' would work around this bug in
 the Exchange server, which appears to be closing the connection (!) when
 an invalid mailbox name is queried. I don't think this is a mutt bug.
 (There is a different bug open about doing a better job of automatically
 determining what is and isn't an IMAP delimiter).
